Joining and participating in a PlayMore gaming guild is not mandatory. Guilds are loose affiliations of players who participate in events under a team banner for the purposes of fame and glory. Players can win trophies and awards on behalf of their guild and may be given the opportunity to participate in special guild events based on their ranking within their own guild.
